APPENDIX: PERDITION MAY BE A SPIRITUAL NAME FOR THE ANTICHRIST'S DEAD BODY

APPENDIX: PERDITION MAY BE A SPIRITUAL NAME FOR THE ANTICHRIST'S DEAD BODY

The beast of Revelation 13:1 dies, but appears to be raised to life after his decease. The Bible says that another beast (a demonic beast with seven symbolic heads), which John saw in Revelation 17:3, shall ascend from the bottomless pit (a place in Hell) and go into perdition (Revelation 17:7-8).

Revelation 17:7-8

"[7] And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

[8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." [End quote]

I believe that perdition is another name for the body of the Antichrist (as well as being a name for Hell itself). The Antichrist's body will be killed, but a demonic entity will enter the corpse and will revive it somehow. The corpse will come back to life because it was a puppet for demons, from the beginning. (Later in this particular section, we will look into how the Antichrist is likely related to the Genesis 6 giants.)

Who is the beast in Revelation 17:7-8? It is the devil and his kingdom, I believe. The beast which ascends up out of the bottomless pit is the devil himself. The phrase "...beast that was..." (in verse 8) refers to how the devil did reside in the beast's body and made the beast come alive, like a puppet master controlling a marionette. The beast's body was killed by a sword (Revelation 13:14), and the devil was removed from the body.

The mysterious phrase in Revelation 17:8 "...and is not..." refers to how the beast does not behave the same as before, I believe. He died, but when he revived, he became different than before. He became very vicious toward Christians, and demanded their slaughter (Revelation 13:15). The phrase "and yet is" (in Revelation 17:8) refers to the devil being restored back to the body of the beast to control it again and make it seem to come alive.

Looking at the first part of verse 8, we now can see that the devil was in control of the beast puppet (see "The beast that thou sawest was...") before he was removed from the body (see "and is not"). He then ascends out of the bottomless pit and enters into perdition, the Antichrist's body. After he enters into perdition (the beast's body), the unsaved world will wonder and marvel over the body of the beast as it appears to rise from the dead.

If the Antichrist were human, he could not rise from the dead because the Bible teaches that once a man dies, he cannot be restored to his body (Hebrews 9:27), unless God does a miracle (John 11). Naturally, people don't rise from the dead, unless a miracle happens. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, but Jesus certainly will not raise a dead Antichrist back to life. And, the devil cannot contradict the scripture from Hebrews 9:27 and John 11.

Hebrews 9:27 says: "[27] And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" [End quote]

Therefore, the Antichrist (or beast) is not a man. He is a puppet-like hybrid formed from fallen-angel and human genetic material. In Genesis 6, the Bible speaks of the sons of God (fallen angels) marrying human women and having children by them. These children grew up to be giants (see Genesis 6:4). Would God create human spirits to place into those hybrid beings? By no means would God do such a thing. The giants were all puppets controlled by demon spirits. And, I believe that the Antichrist will be no different than the giants of Genesis 6.
