Exposing the Occult Agenda of Disney's DuckTales Cartoon. Disney's Occult Movies and Cartoons. Magica De Spell. Sorcery in DuckTales.

Exposing the Occult Agenda of Disney's DuckTales Cartoon

DuckTales [1987] was a popular cartoon show for children in the late '80s. It premiered on September 18, 1987, and the last episode was aired on May 6, 1990 ("DuckTales (1987)"). Last year, it was rebooted as a new show, DuckTales [2017], with all new episodes, and aired on Disney XD. Like many Disney cartoons and movies, DuckTales promotes magic and sorcery. We will see how the magic and sorcery seen in the DuckTales cartoon shows are just animated versions of what real witches use today. Also, the DuckTales reboot from 2017 contains magic and sorcery, like its predecessor.

"Master of the Djinni" (Season #1, Episode 12)

In the DuckTales episode titled "Master of the Djinni," Scrooge McDuck, a "good guy," who is Donald Duck's wealthy uncle, is in search of the lamp of Aladdin. When he discovers it in a mountain, he struggles with Glomgold, a villain, in order to obtain the magic lamp. As they struggle, they rub their hands against the magic lamp and summon a demon spirit called a jinn or jinni (or genie).

Here is what The Disney Wiki has to say about this episode:

(The genie from DuckTales. Click for source.)

"In the middle of the desert, Scrooge McDuck travels by camel with his three nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. They spot a mountain ... the Vault of Aladdin. As they make their way to the mountain, Glomgold and his goons zoom past on their jet. They land on the opposite side of the mountain. ... Glomgold finds the ... door. .... When Scrooge's eyes adjust to the darkness, he spots Aladdin's lamp .... Glomgold enters the vault and hears Scrooge. The two race for the lamp. ... They both reach the lamp at the same time. They struggle for lamp ...

All of the jostling counts as rubbing and the Djinni (or genie) in the lamp bursts forth and greets his new masters." [End quote] ("Master of the Djinni")

Wikipedia says this about the jinn or djinn:

"Jinn (Arabic: الجن‎, al-jinn), also romanized as djinn or anglicized as genies (with the more broad meaning of spirits or demons)[1][2] are supernatural creatures in early Arabian and later Islamic mythology and theology. ... Jinn mentioned in Middle Eastern folktales are often depicted as monstrous or magical creatures, ... [3]" [End quote] ("Jinn")

Demons appear in Chinese, Japanese, African and other ancient literature. The Bible speaks about them and identifies them as being fallen angels who serve Satan, the dragon.

Revelation 12:7-9
(Scrooge McDuck and Merlock the Magician
in DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.

"[7.] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." [End quote]

The devil is real and he is active in this world, seeking to lead all people astray. But, we will return to DuckTales to point out something else that is seen throughout the cartoon episodes.

Magica De Spell
(Magica De Spell. Click for source.)

One character in DuckTales has a name that stands out from the rest: Magica De Spell. Her name is a clear indication of who she is. Wikipedia has this to say about this character:

"Magica De Spell is a fictional character of the Scrooge McDuck universe, an Italian sorceress created by Carl Barks. She constantly steals or attempts to steal Scrooge McDuck's Number One Dime, which she believes will play a vital role in magically obtaining the same fabulous wealth of its owner." [End quote] ("Magica De Spell.")

This character is a sorceress and her name simply means magic spell. Living up to her name, she casts spells and uses magic mirrors to obtain her objectives. In the episode titled "Magica's Magic Mirror," Magica uses a couple magic mirrors to try to obtain a special dime owned by Scrooge McDuck. Wearing a disguise, she gives Scrooge a magic mirror that can magically predict the future. Another name for that would be a "scrying mirror," which is used by modern witches and warlocks for the practice of divination, or "divining."

DuckTales Wiki says this about the episode:

"Magica De Spell is making another attempt at trying to take Scrooge's dime. Magica decides to dress veiled and give Scrooge a magic mirror that can predict the future. Magica then makes bad things happen to things around Scrooge so Magica can try to get Scrooge's dime in order to make the bad things stop by the use of a magic mirror she made. Various predictions that happened around them include the arrival of Doofus at the McDuck Mansion, and Launchpad crashing and landing through the chimney." [End quote] ("Magica's Magic Mirror.")

The magic mirror predicted things that actually happened in the same cartoon episode, reinforcing in children's minds that magic mirrors and spells work. As we mentioned before, witches use "scrying" mirrors to see the future, and contact the spirit world. This is a type of divination, or trying to obtain information from the spirit world by occult means.

In the DuckTales reboot from 2017, a character called Lena uses a magic talisman to summon a spirit, whom she calls "Aunt Magica." This happens in the episode from 2017 titled "The Beagle Birthday Massacre!". This is nothing less than conjuring, which is communication with spirits by summoning them. It is also a type of occult practice called "consulting with familiar spirits." God forbids this in Deuteronomy 18. (I read about this episode at disney.wikia.com.)

The Magic Mirror

An occult website said:
(The scrying / magic mirror from Disney's
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

'Scrying mirrors are a divination tool for looking into ... past, present, and future events. ... [The] scrying mirror, also known as the "magic mirror" .... ... can reveal to the user secret hidden knowledge ....' [End quote]

Exposing children to the occult world is spiritually harmful, and the Bible forbids anything that witches, wizards, New Agers, and occultists do, including divination.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (emphasis added)

"[10.] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."

Galatians 5:19-21

"[19.] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:8

"[8.] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." [End quote]

There is a reason that Disney includes magic, witchcraft, and sorcery in much of its TV shows, cartoons, movies, and video games. The devil is seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 says: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:".

1 Peter 5:6-9

"[6.] Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." [End quote]
