NARNIA IS ANTI-CHRIST (Witchcraft in The Chronicles of Narnia)

NARNIA CONTRADICTS
THE BIBLE AND IS ANTI-CHRIST

Witchcraft in The Chronicles of Narnia

The Chronicles of Narnia stories are still popular today after their beginning in the 1950s. They have been made into several popular Hollywood films. Many Christians have embraced the books and treasured them along with other writings of C.S. Lewis. But, what is the reason for their continuing popularity? Could it be that they are more than just novels for entertainment?

The late David J. Meyer, a former witch, became a believer in Jesus Christ and left witchcraft. He then exposed the real witchcraft in some popular books for children and adults. David J. Meyer wrote:

As a former witch, astrologer, and occultist who has been saved by the grace of God, I know that the works of C.S. Lewis are required reading by neophyte witches, especially in the United States and England. This includes The Chronicles of Narnia, because it teaches neophyte, or new witches, the basic mindset of the craft. Isn’t it strange, though, that many “Christian” churches and organizations have used The Chronicles of Narnia as Sunday School curriculum?” [End quote] (Meyer, David J. “The Witchcraft of the Narnia Chronicles.” lasttrumpetministries.org.) (Emphasis added)

{Note: A neophyte is a beginner witch.}

Let’s consider what David J. Meyer said about Narnia.

Lord of the Rings Is Antichrist and Portrays Witchcraft

Lord of the Rings Is Occultic and Anti-Christ

The Lord of the Rings was the sequel to J.R.R. Tolkien’s 1937 novel, The Hobbit. This book series took shape in Tolkien’s mind in the late 1930s. One day as Tolkien was grading papers, he found a blank sheet of paper and a sentence came to his mind: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit” (See "Who was Tolkien?" in Works Cited). He wrote it down and began to ponder what a hobbit was and what kind of hole it lived in. From that day forward, J.R.R. Tolkien began a story that would become very popular all around the world.

"[22] Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

[23] That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles."

Forgiveness Is Important to Living a Christian Life, and Having God's Blessing, and Having God's Peace

(King Saul and David. Click for source.)

Forgiveness Is Important to Living a Christian Life, and Having God's Blessing, and Having God's Peace

People have wronged us. It happens throughout life and it happens to everyone. Due to the sin nature, people can be cruel and uncaring of each other, but forgiving those who have wronged us a necessary to our healing and growth and to staying in communion or fellowship with God. Without forgiveness, humanity would self-destruct.

King David forgave King Saul, who sought to kill him; and who took his wife, Michal, from him; and who killed many priests of the Lord. God blessed him for that and David was crowned king and given power over the land of Israel and over his enemies. God blessed him for forgiving his enemies. David lamented over Saul when he heard of his death during a battle with the Philistines (2 Samuel 1:17-27). He also forbid his men from doing any harm to Saul when Saul was, unknowingly, in one of the caves David and his men were hiding in (1 Samuel 24).

Forgiveness is a choice. It is not a feeling. And, faith is a choice, and it is not a feeling. That is why Jesus told the ruler of the synagogue, whose daughter had just died, "...Be not afraid, only believe."

Rees Howells: Intercessor - Note for Page 46 - Wrongful Presentation of the Holy Ghost

(Click for source.)
Rees Howells: Intercessor (PDF): http://www.inspirationalchristians.org/downloads/rees-howells-intercessor-ebook.pdf
  • This is a good book with powerful scripture references and inspiring examples from the life of a man who desired to serve God and do God's best will for his life. He saw miracles happen in answer to prayer and the course of World War 2 changed by way of his and others' prayers. This is an inspiring book to read and seek God through, but it does have some errors, as most Christian books do.
  • There are more errors than I have been able to write about. So, we Christians need to be Bereans (Acts 17:10-11). I myself have been misled at times, so I offer this article with a desire to point out why God is a loving, caring, compassionate, patient, gracious, longsuffering Father.

-- Regarding Page 46 in the above PDF file:

Rees Howells was convicted that he was jealous about his friend who God had used to speak at an open-air meeting. But, after feeling convicted, Rees heard God asking him: "'Didn't you come out to the open air for these souls to be blessed?'... 'And if so, what difference does it make through whom I bless them?'"

But, the voice Rees heard after that question was not speaking in agreement with God's Word, the Bible. The following voice said that Rees was to confess his sin of silently envying his friend's speaking abilities to that same friend. That same friend was ignorant that Rees had even envied him, but Rees was told to confess that sin to him. Then, the same voice told Rees that if Rees ever envied again, he would have to publicly confess that sin.

Below are some links articles about statements made in this book (Rees Howells: Intercessor) that are erroneous. We Christians can get into error, including this writer, so seeking to know God personally, being Bereans (Acts 17:11), and meditating on God's Word (John 8:31-32Psalm 1:2) are important.
