This article will look at the soon coming world-wide smart grid (or the 5G network); artificial intelligence (A.I.); the D-Wave quantum computer, and see how these technologies will usher in the New World Order, where a central government will rule the planet.


THE SMART GRID (OR THE 5G NETWORK)

Also called the "internet of things," the smart grid (i.e. the 5G network) will link a network of appliances, cars, computers, thermostats, tablets, and cell phones. A smartphone will be able to access and turn on any appliance in the house. "Artificial intelligence" software will guess, with great accuracy, what one's personal preferences are.

The topic of quantum computers and the arrival of strange entities to our planet sounds like science fiction, but it is not. People today are working on developing existing technology, such as quantum computers, to usher in a global network of "A.I." computers, which will be the skeletal structure of a coming global government. And, while this global government and its A.I. network falls into place, strange entities are supposed to be coming to the earth too.


QUANTUM COMPUTERS

Before we talk about the coming of strange entities, let's first look at quantum computers. We will see how these two topics are related and what they mean for the near future of our planet.

Arthur C. Clarke, a famous science fiction author, said: "It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship God but to create him." (Clarke) [See Genesis 3.]

Transhumanism is defined by oxforddictionaries.com as "The belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology." (Oxford.) (See Footnote below).

Eliezer Yudkowsky, a transhumanist, said: "There is nothing in transhumanism but the same common sense that underlies standard humanism, rigorously applied to cases outside our modern-day experience. A million-year lifespan? If it’s possible, why not?" (Yudkowsky) [End quote]

Another transhumanist, Marvin Minsky, wrote this statement, which appeared in the Scientific American magazine (in the October 1994 issue):

"Once we know what we need to do, our nanotechnologies should enable us to construct replacement bodies and brains that won't be constrained to work at the crawling pace of "real time." The events in our computer chips already happen millions of times faster than those in brain cells. Hence, we could design our "mind-children" to think a million times faster than we do." (Minsky) [End quote]

The Antichrist in the book of Revelation is called the beast. He is worshiped by all who do not receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Being a man-like entity called the beast, this person is not fully human. He actually has power which can be called "superhuman." For instance, he can die but appear to rise back to life again. He also has power to subdue the whole earth so that people will say "...Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" (Revelation 13:3). No man or woman on earth will be like this creature. One might then say that he is a "superhuman."

The concept of a superhuman man matches with the beliefs of transhumanists. They are looking forward to a time when humans will supposedly engineer themselves into something "godlike" or supernatural. 

Now, humans did not create the beast, and they cannot create anything like this beast, but I propose that the Antichrist (which Revelation calls the beast) was a hybrid engineered by the devil (Satan) using human and fallen angel genes in a manner similar to what happened in Genesis 6. We will look at that more, later in this article.

This article has five sections:

1. Robots exist because mankind made them, but they cannot become human.

2. Robots cannot be as smart as man because only God can give intelligence.

3. Artificial Intelligence is impossible because intelligence resides within the soul, in the mind, and robots do not have souls.

4. Transhumanism is impossible because transhumanists believe that man can become a god.

5. Transhumanism is preparing the way for the Antichrist of Revelation.

The most advanced robot with a human-like appearance is called "Sophia" from Hanson Robotics. It has the ability to translate speech into computer code which can be processed by its computer "brain". It can respond to questions by way of using a database of words and statements from which sentences can be matched to a person's question or statement to give the appearance that the robot is "thinking" and responding to human interaction.

Ben Goertzel, the designer of the robot's computer "brain", said that "Sophia" doesn't have the intelligence to form its witty responses (Gershgorn). Quartz (a news company) writes that Sophia "... can be programmed to run different code for different situations." (Gershgorn). The robot can match prewritten statements with words people speak to it (Gershgorn).
