THE TRUTH ABOUT HELL THAT THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW

There is a place near the center of the earth, in the second heaven (or a different dimension), where lost souls go when they die.

The book of Ezekiel speaks of the place of the unsaved dead being in the "nether parts" of the earth.

Ezekiel chapter 31 (verse 2) addresses a pharaoh of Egypt.

In verse 14, the Bible says, in part: [14] "... : for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit." [end quote].

THE NATURE OF HELL

The prophet Ezekiel mentions, in Ezekiel 31:17, how armies of ungodly people were killed and went down into Hell.

Ezekiel 31:17

[17] "They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen." [end quote].

Revelation chapter 14, verses 9-11, tells how the torment in Hell is eternal (because a human soul is eternal).

Revelation 14:9-11

"[9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

[11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." [end quote].

Notice the words "... and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone ..." "... And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, ..." [end quote] ? The torment of Hell is eternal. It never stops.

The Lord Jesus said...

Mark 9:42-48

"[42] And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. [43] And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

[44] Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
[45] And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: [46] Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

[47] And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: [48] Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."  [end quote].

To offend means to lead into sin. We must radically forsake what leads us into sin, while looking to God, and seeking to know Him.

AN IMPORTANT STATEMENT IN REVELATION 21

If you are a Christian, and are born-again, take heed to the words of the Lord Jesus that your hands, eyes, or feet could lead you into the eternal fires of Hell. Jesus was speaking to His disciples when He said those words. If you are in sin, repent, and seek God to help you, and rest in Him. Knowing God deeply is how you overcome sin.

Beware of what happens to those who refuse to repent, like the children of Israel who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. They didn't enter the promised land (i.e. Heaven). Idolaters (those who stubbornly love anything above God and His Truth) will be cast into the eternal fires of Hell.

The book of Revelation, in chapter 21, says...

Revelation 21:7-8

"[7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." [end quote].

Notice the words "... idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone ..." [end quote]?

THE STRANGE WOMAN AND SIN

Proverbs chapter 5 shows how sin (symbolized by the strange woman, or harlot) leads a person into Hell. Proverbs 5 also shows how in Hell, the soul-body is destroyed. But, this is eternal suffering and everlasting destruction (1 Thess. 1:9) because the soul of man is eternal.

1 Thessalonians 1:9

"[9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;" [end quote].

PROVERBS 5:3-5

"[3] For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: [4] But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. [5] Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell." [end quote].

Notice the words "[5] Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell." [end quote] ?

PROVERBS 5:11-12

"[11] And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed, [12] And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;" [end quote].

THE BOOK OF LIFE

These are serious words. We must consider them and take heed (i.e. pay attention and listen) to what the Lord Jesus Christ said in the Gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Sin always leads into Hell. The soul that sins shall die (or perish in Hell) (See Ezekiel 18:20).

The Lord Jesus, in Revelation chapter 3, said...

Revelation 3:5

"[5] He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." [end quote].

God will only blot out the names of those who refuse to repent from their sins He is convicting them about. Those whose names are not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire, in Hell (See Revelation 20:15).

Revelation 20:15

"[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Hebrews 10 shows how a person, who was made holy by the blood of Jesus (i.e. was sanctified), has trampled underfoot Jesus Christ and has "... counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing..." [end quote].

HEBREWS 10:28-30

"[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

[30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people." [end quote]

Christians can trample underfoot their Lord Jesus and forsake the blood of the new covenant which has sanctified (made us holy unto God). Simon Peter wrote that believers in Jesus could turn back to the world and forsake Christ.

2 Peter 2:20-22

"[20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

[21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." [end quote].

In verse 20, the word knowledge, in Greek, also means full discernment. This could only happen by having a close walk with God through Jesus.

THE TRUTH THAT PAUL WROTE IN GALATIANS ABOUT SIN

Paul, in Galatians 5, said...

Galatians 5:19-21

"[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." [End quote].

Notice the words "... Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, ... Idolatry, ... hatred, ... they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." [end quote]?

We must repent from sin, seek to know God, and have a thirst for Him and His Word.

Do you have any problems? Are you in need of help? JESUS is the ANSWER today, and He will be the ANSWER tomorrow too.

Just as David had a giant, you do as well. It is sin. How do you defeat sin? Sin will slay you and bring you to the place of eternal destruction, which is called Hell.

THE ANSWER

The only answer to the problems of sin is to turn to JESUS, for only JESUS can give you eternal life in Heaven and true peace in this world.

Trust in the blood of JESUS CHRIST to wash away all your sins, make JESUS your Savior and Lord, and seek to know Him. The best way is through the BIBLE, God's Holy Word.

Of course, when you have turned to JESUS, look to Him for the power to overcome sin. Sin is like a magnet that draws people toward Hell. Choose to look to JESUS and forsake sin, and JESUS CHRIST's blood will cleanse the sin away (1 John 1:9). This is also true for Christians. We Christians must repent from sin whenever we give place to it.

READ the Gospel of JOHN to learn more about JESUS. May God's peace be with you as you seek to know Him.
