STAR WARS IS ANTI-CHRIST
(The Devil's Tool to Steal the Hearts of Christians)
|| STAR WARS CONTRADICTS
THE BIBLE AND
IS ANTI-CHRIST ||
Released to the world in 1977, Star Wars became a powerful phenomenon which drew millions of people into its profound influence. But, its power to captivate the minds, imaginations, and hearts of countless millions of people is not something that can be lightly ignored. Christians need to be aware of the messages and themes in Star Wars, especially since the Bible warned us about deceivers and evil people who would conduct amazing signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, God's people.
The darkness in our world is increasing. We must be vigilant, as Christians, to watch and pray ... that is we need to know what God would show us personally and to pray as God leads us by His Holy Spirit. In the dark waters of this world, we need God's Holy Spirit and His Holy Bible to guide us when we consider the popular things in our culture and world.
-- “The Force” Is a Term
Witches Use.
(for the Occultic Power They
Possess or Think They Possess)
After leaving witchcraft, the
late David J. Meyer became a believer in Jesus Christ.
Years after his conversion,
David J. Meyer said this in an online article:
‘When
real witches have sabats and esbats and meet as a coven, they
greet each other by saying "Blessed be", and when they part, they say
"The Force be with you." Both sides of this
"Force" are Satan. It is not a good side of the force that overcomes
the bad side of the force, but rather it’s the blood of Jesus Christ that
destroys both supposed sides of the satanic "Force."’ (Meyer)
(Emphasis added) [End quote] (See the Works Cited.)
Likewise, in Star Wars, “the
Force” has a “dark side” and a “light side”. Luke Skywalker uses the “good
side” of the Force to battle Darth Vader who uses the “dark side” of the Force.
“White” witches use what they call “white magic,” and wizards in the dark arts
use “black magic”.
Magic (also known as
“magick”) is sorcery and witchcraft. The Bible has this to say about such
practices…
Deuteronomy
18:9-12 (emphasis added)
“[9]
When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt
not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
[10]
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an
observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
[11]
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a
wizard, or a necromancer.
[12]
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and
because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before
thee.” [End quote] [Underlining / Bold font added]
-- Levitation Is Used in
Witchcraft and Star Wars.
From Merriam-Webster.com, we have this definition for levitation:
"... the act or process of levitating especially : the rising or lifting of a person or thing by means held to be supernatural" [End quote] (Levitation, Merriam-Webster.com)
Tibetan monks were known to
levitate while meditating. Levitation is found in eastern mysticism and also in
the occult. In a Star Wars film, an alien character called Yoda caused a
space ship to levitate into the air. Tibetan monks were also known to have
caused massive boulders to levitate into the air.
Jesus
Christ in Mark 13:21-22 said:
“[21] And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ ; or,
lo, he is
there ; believe him not :
[22] For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall
show signs
and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the
elect.” [End quote]
-- Telekinesis Is Found in
Both Star Wars and the Occult.
Merriam-Webster.com says this about telekinesis:
"... the production of motion in objects (as by a spiritualistic medium) without contact or other physical means" [End quote] (Telekinesis, Merriam-Webster)
Like levitation, telekinesis
is the movement of an object without physically touching it. Levitation refers
to moving an object upward. Telekinesis refers to moving an object in other
directions. In Star Wars, Jedi knights (so-called "good guys") and Sith knights move
objects without touching them. A character named Luke Skywalker drew a light saber (a sword that uses a beam of energy to cut things) toward him, using telekinesis. This is sorcery. Witches have been known to move
objects by way of telekinesis for many years, and long before Star Wars came
out.
Jesus said this in Matthew
24:23-24:
“[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or
there ;
believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall show
great signs and wonders ; insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect.” [End quote]
-- Spell-Casting Is Used in Star Wars
The word "spell," referring to an occult practice, is defined by Merriam-Webster.com as:
"... : a spoken word or form of words held to have magic power" [End quote] (Spell, Merriam-Webster.com)
TheFreeDictionary.com said this about a magic spell: "... a verbal formula believed to have magical force; ... " [End quote] (Magic Spell, TheFreeDictionary.com)
In a Star Wars movie, a Jedi master named Obi-Wan Kenobi was stopped by an enemy soldier, a stormtrooper. The Jedi master used his "magic" or "force" skill to deceive the enemy soldier into letting him through. Obi-Wan and the stormtrooper had a brief "conversation." The stormtrooper mindlessly went along with the Jedi master, not realizing he was under a type of magic "spell."
[Obi-Wan:] "These are not the droids you're looking for."
[Stormtrooper:] "These are not the droids we're looking for." (Source: StarWars.Fandom.com)
This deception used by the Jedi master is called a "spell" in the occult world. Witches (and warlocks) today will cast spells on people to influence them to make decisions favorable to the witch or warlock. There are books being sold today that promote the use of spells to influence people to enter a romantic relationship, spells to influence employers, spells to make a business more profitable, etc.
George Lucas and his team simply took occult themes and "sanitized" them of all blatant references to things such as books of spells, grimoires (occult books), hexes, charms, wands, magic rings, potions, table-tipping, séances, tarot cards, crystal balls, scrying mirrors, "divination," astrology, sorcery, "telekinesis," etc. All these practices and things are forbidden by God and His Word, the Bible.
Galatians chapter 5 says this in verses 19 through 21:
“[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like : of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
-- Clairvoyance or Divination Is Used by Jedi Knights in Star Wars.
Merriam-Webster.com defines clairvoyance as:
"1 : the power or faculty of discerning objects not present to the senses
2 : ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception : PENETRATION
The fortune-teller practices clairvoyance when she gazes into a crystal ball to see her client's future." [End quote] (Clairvoyance, Merriam-Webster.com)
Clairvoyance is used in Star Wars by both Jedi and Sith knights.
According to StarWars.Fandom.com:
"One of the first Force powers Yoda taught to the young Luke Skywalker was farseeing. He used this ability to sense that his friends were in danger on Bespin." [End quote] ("Farsight")
StarWars.Fandom.com also said:
"Palpatine used this skill to discover that Darth Vader was in danger after his fight with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. ... He also used it to set his traps for the Jedi, keeping himself several steps ahead." [End quote] ("Farsight")
The above website also said:
"... Admiral Conan Antonio Motti .... Motti insubordinately retorted that Vader's devotion to the Force didn't have him find the stolen Death Star plans while sarcastically referring to such as clairvoyance before Vader nearly choked him." [End quote] ("Farsight")
The Bible calls this occult power divination. Merriam-Webster.com says this about divination:
"1 : the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural powers" [End quote] [Underlining added] (Divination, Merriam-Webster.com)
Deuteronomy 18:10 says this about divination and witchcraft:
"[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch." [End quote] [Underlining added]
-- Communication with Spirits of the Dead Is an Occult
Practice Called Necromancy. It Is Found in Star Wars.
Britannica.com says this about necromancy:
"Necromancy, communication with the dead, usually in order to obtain insight into the future or to accomplish some otherwise impossible task. ... Its practitioners were skilled magicians ..." [End quote] (Necromancy, Britannica.com)
God warned His people about
sorcerers; witches; necromancers (those who communicate with spirits that claim
to be of the dead); those who consult or speak with familiar spirits; wizards,
enchanters, etc.
Deuteronomy
18:10-12
“[10]
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his
daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an
observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
[11]
Or a charmer, or a consulter
with familiar spirits, or a
wizard, or a necromancer.
[12]
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them
out from before thee.” [End quote]
Star Wars movies, cartoons,
TV shows, video games, toys, etc. include necromancy in the form of Jedi
knights or others speaking with spirits of former Jedi knights who have passed
away. For instance, the character named Luke Skywalker spoke with the "ghost" of his deceased former Jedi master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
These “ghosts” of the Jedi are identical in nature to the spirits that
witches and occult practitioners call up or summon during séances and other
occult events. When the spirit or voice summoned claims to be a living being,
that is called a spirit guide, or a familiar spirit.
Or, when the spirit claims to
be the spirit of a dead person, that person is said to be a “ghost” or the
spirit of the dead. But, in both cases, speaking with such a spirit is speaking
with an evil spirit that pretends to be and appears to be something other than
what it truly is -- a demonic spirit.
God forbids speaking with
familiar spirits, or “ghosts,” or anything of that nature. God also forbids
anything to do with magic / “magick” (anything that involves occult
power or occult knowledge … a.k.a. sorcery). ( Check out these scriptures at the end of the article. )
The answer to sin, temptation, deception, and the power of the occult is look to Jesus Christ, and seek to know Him, and rest in Him, and talk with Him, and read His Word (the Bible), and choose to look to Him for help to forsake the world. This is how one escapes the snares of the devil and the power of the occult and the traps of sin. Knowing Abba Father God, through Jesus Christ, on a deep, personal level is how to escape the power of darkness in all its forms.
